Denise Braun
President
My name is Denise Braun, and I'm a proud resident of Courtyard 3. I moved here in 2020, and I absolutely love calling this community home.
I truly enjoy living here and appreciate the sense of community we share. Outside of the HOA, I work as a middle school teacher, which has given me great experience in communication and organization—skills I hope to bring to this role.
My goal is to keep our neighborhood running smoothly, looking beautiful, and feeling like the welcoming, friendly place we all enjoy.

I have called this neighborhood home since December of 1999. After serving actively on the board for over 12 years, I took a step back to encourage new voices and fresh perspectives in our community leadership. Recently, I was happy to step up and fill the VP vacancy when the board needed a hand. These days, I am glad to offer my experience and 'two cents' wherever it helps!

Hello! I moved into Courtyard 5 in June 2022. I am originally from the New England area, but have been in the Northwest Houston area since 1983.

I have been in the mortgage business since 1985 and love what I do! I fell in love with this little community from the moment I walked into my courtyard for the first time. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have about The Retreat at Lakewood Forest!
